The Acorn’s Hope Bed & Breakfast welcomes guests to the Berkshires, Lenox, Tanglewood, and Stockbridge Ma, to the finest in Tanglewood Bed and Breakfast lodging. Our ideal location, panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valley and comfortable amenities are at the heart of our informal and relaxing atmosphere. A trio of stately and venerable oak trees frame our expanded 1930’s Cape-style cottage, and were the inspiration for our name. The finest in Great Barrington lodging.

The Acorn’s Hope is set on over one and a half acres of broad lawn and perennial flower beds, with expansive views to the West across a lovely  pasture with horses and Lamas which provides a foreground for views of Mt. Catamount. To the East, surrounded by an encircling path, lies a pond providing a year-round haven for ducks, Canada geese, the occasional heron, and other wildlife. Our proximity to Tanglewood, Lenox, and Stockbridge Ma, just to our north, make our location ideal for your lodging, and Bed and Breakfast pleasures.

Accommodations at the Acorn’s Hope consist of several bedrooms, each with private bath and air conditioning. Our elegant country dècor includes canopied cherry four-poster bed, cherry sleigh, and wicker beds as well as a variety of American antiques,  fresh flowers, and down-filled duvets. Our comfortable living room and formal dining room are each graced by a working fireplace. Thick towels,  amenities and warm robes are provided for every guest.

BREAKFAST is usually served around 8:30, -IT IS YOUR VACATION  SO- SLEEP IN IF YOU LIKE !

Entree’s  (from the traditional to the inventive) are offered depending on the residing guests preferences. Weekdays may offer lighter fare choices.  Of course, your Innkeeper will be available to offer information and suggestions… having lived in the Berkshires since 1987, she can always point you in the right direction whether you’re looking for skiing, massage, music, theater, yoga, or the even the best sushi!
